About total carat weight :
The total carat weight refers to both earrings.
In a pair of 1 carat total weight diamond studs, each earring is 1/2 carat.
Most customers refer to diamond weight in fractions. In the trade, however, diamond weight is measured
in points and usually expressed in decimal form, such as .50 for 1/2 carat.
Our diamond weights are within industry standards.
1/4 carat may weigh between .22 and .28 carat.
1/3 carat may weigh between .30 and .36 carat.
3/8 carat may weigh between .37 and .43 carat.
1/2 carat may weigh between .47 and .53 carat.
3/4 carat may weigh between .70 and .78 carat.
1 carat may weigh between .95 and 1.10 carat.
1 1/4 carat may weight between 1.20 and 1.29 carat.
1 1/2 carat may weight between 1.45 and 1.55 carat.
